Martin F Bartholomew

After serving as a Royal Navy aircrew officer, Martin followed a successful international management career to director level in telecoms and other technologies. He started his own consulting and training business in 2000, following which he carried out a number of significant interim management assignments in UK and elsewhere in Europe. Nowadays he is focused on training, teaching and executive coaching. He is a regular sub-contractor for the following organisations: www.cartus.com and www.firstclasssailing.com

His sector experience includes fixed and mobile telecoms, cable, satellite, media services, interactive voice & web response systems and flight simulation. He has worked as a line manager in small, large and very large organisations at all stages of their lifecycle – including start-up, expansion, turnaround, contraction, mergers & acquisitions.

He holds the following formal qualifications: Masters Degree (Management) from the University of Kent, Chartered Manager (British Chartered Management Institute), Certified Director (UK Institute of Directors), Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults (University of Cambridge). Finally, he is a qualified diver and Royal Yachting Association instructor of yacht cruising, navigation and VHF radio operation.
